Crust-less Cheesecake Baking Instructions

 


 

 

Grease 9 inch spring-form pan with shortening.  Dust with flour or cocoa.

 Pour batter into pan and place in 200 0F oven.

Bake overnight for 8 hours – do not open the oven door until it is finished baking!

Remove pan from oven after 8 hours.

Cool for 1 – 1½ hours on a wire rack.

Run knife around edge of pan to loosen cake and then loosen side of spring-form pan to assure that cake sides are loose.  Re-latch spring-form pan.  Invert cake onto a plate that is covered in a sheet of waxed paper.  Loosen sides of pan again and allow to cool for one more hour.

Remove pan’s side and bottom (which is currently on top of the cake).  Invert cake onto serving platter (it is now right-side up).

Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate all day until ready to serve.
